I've no idea why British writers are so often spot-on, their level of wit matching my personal taste of dry humor (spelt without the U, thankyouverymuch) very well. But here it is again in Mr. Lambert's tale. An average escapade turned into a silly adventure, enjoyable to the last word. So why are you reading this instead of diving into the book?
It's a fun read. I thought the pacing was good, the characters fleshed out enough, and plot engaging. Very decent effort for a first novel.
